Developers Notes,

Now I don't normally do this, but I figured I'd break PR mode and share a bit of what's been going on behind the scenes.

Originally the full game was meant to be much longer, but due to my own lack of funds and increasing development time, I was basically forced to either cancel the project or split the game up into 3 episodes.

I've been beginning to learn why being a mostly solo dev is such a daunting task, keeping up with almost all aspects of development alone has been tremendously difficult, not to mention stuff like PR and marketing.

The Steam trailer alone between myself and 3 others (RummySM, dconn, and Saturn's Rings!) took over a month of production, it can be surprising just how much work and time things take sometimes., and how easy it is to underestimate the difficulty or complexity of things until you have more experience with them. These last 2 years working on this game have been quite a learning experience, but I feel much better prepared for the future.

I'm really trying my best, and I think I'm doing pretty okay all things considered, though I'd like to be a bit more active with updates on development in the future.

Anyway, if Episode One does well enough I can afford to continue work on episodes 2 and 3! But even if it doesn't, I'll continue to update and support Episode One with new content and polish.

I should also perhaps clarify that instead of each episode being separate games, they will be provided as free updates to the base game when they're ready for release. That is if I'm able to afford developing and releasing them, basically they'll be free to anyone who has already purchased the game prior.

But I wish not to make any promises, just in case of a worst case scenario.

I think the game will do pretty well, but this being my first commercial release I figure it would probably be quite ignorant to make that assumption. lol

Anyway that's all, and I thank you for giving my game a shot, supporting my endeavors, or even just reading my long drawn-out thoughts laid upon this page, I hope you're having a wonderful day, and if not, I hope tomorrow is much brighter~
